Text

"Before drawing to a conclusion, I should not forget to mention that at two o'clock each afternoon the pilgrims' boat starts for Saints' Island, which is about two miles distant from Station Island ; and a more delightful little trip can hardly be imagined. During the voyage the pilgrims while away the time most agreeably by singing litanies and hymns, and occasionally the sound of instrumental music may be heard. Having traversed Saints' Island, they start on their homeward trip, after having spent about two hours in this charming little excursion."
